NARS Adelaide Illuminator is a new liquid highlighter from the Final Cut Collection for Spring 2014.
Described as a “shimmering lavender pink”, Adelaide is a cool-toned bright pink with silver shimmer. It is currently the only cool pink out of the Illuminators. NARS Undress Me Multiple is sheerer and more nude while NARS New Order Highlighting Blush is much cooler and lighter with gold sparkles.
While the color looked pretty intense in the tube, it blended down to a sheerer, warmer pink on my NC30 skin and left behind lots and lots of sparkles. Thanks to the liquid base though, the sparkles created a gorgeous, almost frosty finish that managed to stay put with no fall out. Personally, I liked the effect but it could be mean trouble for those with textured skin or pores.
Like other multiples, Adelaide can be used all over the face, as a highlighter and even under, over or mixed with foundation. I liked it best as a blush and loved that it makes my skin look dewy and fresh.
NARS Adelaide Illuminator is now available at narscosmetics.com and Nordstrom for $30.
