Marie Antoinette served as the inspiration for the pink makeup and pastel wigs at the Chanel Cruise 2013 Show in Paris this week. To create the “between girly and rebel” look, Chanel Creative Director of Makeup Peter Philips covered models’ eyes, cheeks and lips with a tangy pink and paired it with a dash of beige liner on the inner rims of the eyes, defined brows and clean skin. But the most interesting part of the look belonged to the little black velvet Chanel logo “beauty marks” that were placed on top of models’ cheekbones. Definitely keep an eye out for them in the upcoming Collection Versailles de Chanel!
