Givenchy Candide Garden #78 Le Prisme Eyeshadow Quartet Review and Swatches

April 7, 2011

Housed in a beautiful case that looks like a little treasure box, Givenchy Candide Garden #78 Le Prisme Eyeshadow Quartet contains four gorgeous earth tones that are perfect for spring.

On the top compartment sits a mirror with four dome-shaped shadows. The colors are a nude peach (base color), light chartreuse (highlighter), burnt orange (eyeshadow) and chocolate brown (intense shadow). They go very well with one another and you can create a variety of looks with them.

On the bottom is a drawer that slides open with 3 applicators – a foam applicator to apply color, a beveled brush to blend and accentuate and a liner brush. While it is a nice thought, the applicators are not very practical and it would be much easier to apply with regular brushes.

As for the shadows, they are very finely milled, smooth and so easy to apply! Pigmentation is also great plus they stay on very well, even without a primer underneath.

OMG this is so pretty! I have a Prism in neutral colours and it’s awesome. I got it a few months ago at Sephora on sale (for only $29!). Really really want this 🙂
