Inspired by the concept of Kabuki makeup, François Nars’ brings us his latest creation, NARS Bento Box Set!


Housed in a handmade bento box, this beautiful set contains two limited edition Kabuki cups that were hand-poured with a new lipstick formula in highly pigmented shades containing Vitamin E. The set also comes with a Kabuki lip brush, designed for precise application by dipping the brush into the cup and blending until desired coverage is achieved.

The set will be available as of November 1st at narscosmetics.com for a whopping $125. Only one thousand sets were created for sale in the United States and just over two thousand in total were created worldwide. You can also get on the wait list now at narscosmetics.com/bento.

    I wonder which plays a bigger part in its pricing… The fact that it’s limited edition/quantities, or the fact that it’s NARS. Hm.. will you be getting one, Phyllis? :]

    Oh my god, this is amazing! But $125? I’m not so sure if it’s really that worth it.

    Sounds great and the colours looks fab, but can you imagine carrying the entire thing in your purse? These are purely for collectors, I think… Not very portable for personal or professional use.

    I love the concept but it’s too expensive for me… I’m sure that in France, the price will be more expensive 🙁

    I’m with you guys on this one. It looks pretty but so expensive! Still debating if I should get it.

    I went to the Nars counter today and it’s selling for HKD 1250 but needs to be ordered in advance. Also, Francois Nars is coming to Hong Kong in November and he will sign it if you buy it. I’m kind of tempted now but the sensible side of me knows I will never use it and it will most likely collect dust on my shelf :/

    Honestly, I don’t like the colors. I do like the looks of the packaging though
