At Nicole Miller Spring/Summer 2014, the inspiration came from the opulence, glamour and beauty of Versailles – the gardens, mirrors, mazes and chandeliers. As a result, makeup artist James Kaliardos working for M·A·C Cosmetics created a bright violet lip while Katie Jane Hughes, butter LONDON Global Colour Ambassador, gave models a glittery ombre nail.
Every season, M·A·C Cosmetics brings us its very own trend recap of the hottest runway looks. And for A/W 2013, it is all about makeup that tells a story… less straightforward, more moody, more mysterious and layered with feeling. This is makeup with a life, resonant with elements of the past, the present and the future.
M·A·C Cosmetics celebrates the anniversary of its limited-edition Illustrator Bags with new designs by two massive talents. Award-winning illustrator Anja Kroencke presents her imaginative vision through black and white line drawings of elegant feminine faces with elaborate wavy hair while New York City graffiti artist and modern Renaissance woman Indie 184 tags the bags with her vibrant graphic street style. The bags also come with lined interiors in complementing patterns, top zipper closure and a looped-end handle.
