My local Bobbi Brown counter already has the latest Summer 2009 Nautical Collection out so here’s a quick review and some swatches for you ladies =)
Sheer Color Lip Gloss ($20)
Sheer Color Cheek Tint ($22)
These are a *lot* tinier than I expected but so cute! They go on very smooth and leave behind a slightly wet finish. They also contain really fine shimmer which tends to show up more when the product dries up. My picks for the summer? Sheer Raspberry, Sheer Pink and Sheer Coral.
These look totally yummy in the tubes and remind me of MAC’s LipGelee but just as the name suggests, they are super sheer and will not give a lot of color.
From March 17th to 19th, Bobbi Brown is doing a special online sale of 25% off everything and you will receive free shipping with any purchases over $60! Enjoy ladies!
Awarded Elle’s “Genius Award”, In Style’s “Best Beauty Buy” and Allure’s “Reader’s Choice Award” in 2008, Bobbi Brown Long Wear Gel Eyeliner comes in 16 beautiful colors so you are bound to find one you like.
I have Black Mauve Shimmer Ink from the Fall 2008 Mauve Collection, which is a very pretty dark taupe with micro-shimmer and a great substitute to your regular black and brown.
Infused with hints of purple, grey and brown, Bobbi Brown’s Fall 2008 Mauve collection is inspired by vintage and definitely one of the prettiest fall collections out there.
Available in 20 yellow-based shades to fit a wide variety of skin tones, Bobbi Brown Foundation Stick ($28) is a cream-based foundation that comes in a stick for easy portability.
According to the Bobbi Brown website, this is not recommended for very oily skin and I can totally see why. My skin is on the drier side yet this still feels oily and heavy on me.
The color I have, Sand, is also a little too yellow, even on my warm Asian skin. I ended up using this only as a concealer.
