Inspired by the joy of flight, the Tadashi Shoji Autumn/Winter 2015 collection evoked a feeling of weightlessness and aerodynamic seaming that inspirits movement. This translated into a gorgeous beauty look with gold glittery eyes, glossy lips and a sponged nail.
Lead artist Pep Gay working for M·A·C Cosmetics perfected the skin by pressing Face and Body Foundation with the palm of his hands and covering up flaws with M·A·C Studio Correct and Conceal Duo then setting with Prep + Prime Transparent Finishing Powder. Next, he curled the lashes and lightly defined them with the natural side of Haute & Naughty Brown Lash. He then glued M·A·C Pro Gold Glitter along the lashlines with Duo Adhesive, repeating to build up the intensity while keeping the line clean and sharp. He finished the look with Sweet Persuasion Huggable Glass (new for A/W 2015) on the lips.
To create the nail look, butter LONDON Global Colour Ambassador Katie Jane Hughes applied butter LONDON Nail Lacquer in Cotton Buds (matte white color) with a sponge making sure the nail tip is covered, so the white color fades up diagonally like a cloud. Then, she applied butter LONDON Nail Lacquer in Full Monty (metallic gold) using the opposite side of the sponge to soften any harsh lines and blend the white and gold nail lacquers slightly. She finished with Hardwear P.D. Quick Top Coat to give the nails a brilliant shine.
