So my NARS Jolie Poupee Duo Eyeshadow has finally arrived and just as I expected, this duo from the Holiday 2008 collection is GORGEOUS!
NARS Jolie Poupee Duo Eyeshadow
The duo consists of a matte violet on the left and a shimmery periwinkle on the right. Both colors have blue undertones so you will not have to worry looking bruised.
Like most NARS eyeshadows, the pigmentation was great and the texture, very smooth and easy to work with. While the shimmery side wore really well and lasted all day, the matte one faded a bit within a few hours and I had to do some touching up, even with a primer underneath.
Nonetheless, Jolie Poupee Duo Eyeshadow is one of my favorites from NARS and I will definitely be reaching for it a lot.

I keep hearing RAVES about NARS orgasm. is it really that awesome? i use the Skinfood BB Cream with Aloe that you did a review on a while ago & its a little too pale, so i mix in a little powdered bronzer to deepen the color. (i'm asian) would NARS orgasm work for me?

I’ve just been reading your blog and saw your post about colored contact lenses. I am wondering if they sell colored contact lenses for astigmatism in a brown or hazel color? I don’t care what brand, but I’ve been looking around and haven’t been successful. I tried freshlook colorblends but the lenses for astigmatism only come in gray, green, honey, and blue. And i want them to look as natural on me as possible. Can you please help me? I really want colored contacts but can’t seem to find them in the right color.

From my personal experience, both MAC and NARS have eyeshadows that have zero pigmentation. I think it all depends on the color itself.
