Runway Beauty: Punk Rock Chic at Libertine S/S 2017

September 14, 2016

Taking notes from the rebellious punk rock element in the Libertine Spring 2017 collection, the nails CND Design Lab Team created were an effortlessly cool throwback to the 1970s and ’80s with unexpected Victorian and new wave elements. Each model wore a split-style mani featuring a completely different look on each hand for a clash of high-contrast texture and color. Think “tough and fluff” or “smooth and rough”.

Libertine designer Johnson Hartig's beloved rescue dogs, Pocket and Terence, made an appearance on the runway, masterfully sculpted with CND RETENTION+™ Liquid & Powder.
