To complement the feminine, delicate dresses at Tadashi Shoji S/S 2014 show, models were given flowy hair, romantic makeup and shiny nails.
Makeup
“The makeup is inspired by the faded fresco paintings found in Tuscan Italy… pastels and watercolors, soft and ethereal,” explained lead makeup artist Lisa Houghton working for M·A·C Cosmetics.
Face
* Face & Body foundation – blended over well-hydrated skin for a natural and radiant finish.
* Have A Lovely Day! Casual Colour (available Spring/Summer 2014) – blended into cheeks for a natural flush.
Eyes
* Uninterrupted Pro Longwear Eyeshadow – applied as a wash over eyelids to lightly enhance contours and shape.
Lips
* M·A·C PRO Fleshpot Lipstick and Have A Lovely Day! Casual Colour – mixed together and softly pressed into lips for a healthy, supple nude.
Nails
“We wanted the nail to mimic the gorgeous organza fabrics seen throughout Tadashi’s collection,” said Katie Jane Hughes, butter LONDON Global Colour Ambassador. To get the look, Katie applied butter LONDON Nail Lacquer in Yummy Mummy with butter LONDON Nail Lacquer in Hen Party layered on top. She completed the look with the butter LONDON Matte Finish Shine Free Topcoat to give the nail a glistening, textured effect.
