Named winner of Best Undereye Concealer in InStyle magazine’s “Best of Beauty”, Cle de Peau Beaute Concealer has long been a favorite among pros and celebrities. But is really worth the hefty $70 price tag? Find out after the jump!
Enhanced with a Revitalizing Moisture Complex to lock in moisture, the Cle de Peau Concealer is a cream-based concealer that comes in a slim, portable stick. There are 4 colors available – Ivory, Beige, Ocher and Honey – which covers light to medium dark skin.
Beige is the second lightest shade and a light beige with neutral undertones.
Ocher is the next shade up and a yellow-based medium color which was a good fit for my NC30 skin.
The concealer has one of the creamiest textures I have ever seen, especially for a stick formula. It glided onto my dehydrated combo skin effortlessly without feeling dry or highlighting fine lines or flakes.
Coverage was EXCELLENT. The concealer was so opaque a few swipes managed to wipe out my undereye circles, redness around the nose and other imperfections. The semi-matte finish also let me get away with not setting powder over it.
Now you know why I have been carrying this around with me daily since 2009!
Cle de Peau Concealer is now available at Nordstrom at $70.
