Finding the right shade for your foundation can be an arduous journey. But with L’Oreal Paris True Match Matchmaker App, your search for the perfect match can end right here!

L'Oreal Paris True Match Matchmaker App

To find your match, just download the free True Match Matchmaker App onto your iPhone/iTouch/iPad, answer 6 simple questions about your skin tone and voilà! You will be given your True Match shade for foundation, concealer, powder and blush, information about your undertone and even a store locator to show you where to get the products.

For my light to medium yellow-based skin, I was matched W4 Natural Beige, the same color family as L’Oreal spokesperson Jennifer Lopez. I ended up picking up both the True Match Super Blendable Makeup and True Match Powder in that shade.

The True Match Super Blendable Makeup comes in an oil-free, fragrance-free formula with micro-fine optical pearls to diffuse imperfection and Glycerin, Vitamins B, E, wheat germ and grapefruit extract to nourish skin. It also contains Titanium Dioxide and Iron Oxide to provide SPF 17, which is great for your everyday sun protection.

There is a HUGE color selection with a total of 33 skin-true shades available, definitely the biggest you can ever find in a drugstore brand. The colors are split into cool, warm and neutral and W4 turned out to be the perfect match for me.

The foundation had a slightly drier yet very blendable texture. I like to apply it with a damp stippling brush or mix in a bit of moisturizer. On my dehydrated combination skin, it gave a soft, satin finish that looks and felt just like skin with medium, buildable coverage.

Another great thing about it was the wearability. Once I set the foundation with a light layer of the True Match Powder, it stayed put a good 8 to 10 hours without oxidizing or fading and no touch up was required.

I could have used this a while ago. I bought two different True Match foundations because they looked like a match, but ultimately didn’t. It’s so tough trying to find a foundation that covers well and matches.

Hi, I was planning to try another Loreal foundation and confused on what shade to get. On CoverGirl I use the WARM BEIGE color, what do you think is the same color as that with Loreal Infallible? I did a lot of research and the color changes because of the camera lighting. Maybe it’s pretty close to BUFF BEIGE or NATURAL BEIGE? I have to order it online because they dont sell the Infallible kind in stores anymore.

    thanks

      Depends on your skin tone. Either N1, N2, W1, W2, C1, C2

      N for neutral tone
      W for warm tones
      C for cool tones
