Singer Taylor Swift will be the spokesperson for CoverGirl Cosmetics‘ upcoming line of luxury makeup, NatureLuxe.

Launching in January 2011, the line will include two new products, NatureLuxe Silk Foundation and Gloss Balm. The NatureLuxe Silk Foundation is a full-coverage foundation that contains hints of natural jojoba and rosehip extracts along with cucumber water to give a polished yet lightweight finish. The Gloss Balm contains mango butter, shea and other butters along with SPF15 to provide a light, silky application and a luxurious lip feel and finish that isn’t heavy or sticky.

I LOVE how Taylor looks so fresh in the ad! She looks so much better without her signature red lip and winged eyeliner. Check out the clip below for a sneak peek of the TV commercial and behind-the-scene footage from the set!

The NatureLuxe Silk Foundation and Gloss Balm will be available at mass retailers nationwide beginning January 2011. Visit www.covergirl.com/collections/natureluxe-collection for more information.

Oooh yeah, I just bought the foundation the other day at my local drugstore! The foundation isn’t bad… it has a very strong perfumed smell though (smells very floral-y), so I’m not sure how it will fair for sensitive skin. It feels really nice and silky and blends pretty well and there are a ton of shades to choose from! Took me a while to narrow down my shade haha. The finish seems to be semi-matte-ish… definitely more dewey than my Revlon Colorstay. So far so good though, it’s got SPF 10 and is cheaper than the Revlon foundation I usually use. The only potential downside to me is that it doesn’t seem control oil as well as what I’m used to… and I have oily/combo skin, but I’ve only worn it twice so we’ll see!
