MAC Spring Colour 3 Forecast Collection Reviews and Swatches

February 11, 2010

With a variety of products in colors ranging from mauve to dark berry, plum is the theme for the Spring Colour 3 Forecast Collection.

Lipstick ($14)

* Radicchio is a mauve color.
* Hang-up is a creamy dark berry color.

Lipglass ($14)

* Lavender Wind is a very sheer lavender color. It will most likely show up clear if you wear it alone.
* Purple Rage is a dark berry with glitter.

Eyeshadow Quad — Colour 3 ($36) – This is a nice quad of purples and browns. Mink Pink is a dusty pink repromote; Bruised Plum is a light mauve; Black Tulip is a dark purple and Jungle Moon is an almost-black purple. Pigmentation is decent and the colors all go on smoothly and blend nicely.

Blush Ombre in Vintage Grape ($25) – This is a darker version of Azalea Blossom from Colour 1 Forecast. The color is a medium purple to a dark purple so it will only work as a blush for those with darker skin. Those with light to medium skin tone can use this as an eyeshadow as suggested by the MA.

Are the lipsticks very opaque, love the radicchio lipstick!

    Flininia,

I wouldn’t say the lipsticks are super opaque but Hang-up is definitely more pigmented than Radicchio.
