67th Annual Golden Globe Awards Makeup and Fashion: Drew Barrymore

January 17, 2010

At the 67th Annual Golden Globe Awards tonight, Drew Barry wore a champagne Atelier Versace silk gown, Jimmy Choo “Zena” platform sandals and jewelry by Lorraine Schwartz. Read on to find out what makeup artist Debra Ferullo used on Drew.

To avoid competing with Drew’s dress, Debra selected warm-tones for a natural, soft look.

First, Debra prepped Drew’s skin with moisturizer and applied Dior Skinflash Primer to set. DiorSkin Nude Foundation was applied on the cheeks to give Drew a dewy look and on select spots for natural illumination. Debra added CoverGirl Simply Ageless Blush in Plush Peach with her fingers for a healthy glow and defined cheekbones.

The look for Drew’s eyes was a pearly, iridescent, shimmer with just a touch of color. Debra used CoverGirl Smoky ShadowBlast in Bronze Fire. She applied the lighter shade to the inner corner of the eye, then the darker shade to the lid for a colorful smoky eye look. To make Drew’s lashes stand out, Debra curled them then applied three coats of CoverGirl LashBlast Length Mascara to the top lashes and one coat to the bottom lashes for definition.

For Drew’s classic red lip look, Dior Addict Lipstick in Hollywood Rose #753 was used.
