FOTD: Punk Inspired Makeup Look with MAC Push The Edge Pigment and Reflects Rust Glitter

What I Used

* Make Up For Ever HD Invisible Cover Foundation in #120 Soft Sand buffed in with MAC #109 Brush
* Anastasia Highlighting Brow Kit to fill in eyebrows
* NARS Lili Marlene Cream Eyeshadow as a base
* MAC Push The Edge Pigment on the lid blended up to the crease
* MAC Solar White Eyeshadow to highlight
* MAC Reflects Rust Glitter applied thickly along the lashlines with MAC Water-based Mixing Medium
* Lashes in #Hugs n Kisses from my very own line
* CoverGirl LashBlast Length Mascara on lower lashes
* MAC Shaping Powder in Lightsweep along bridge of nose
* MAC Impassioned Lipstick dabbed lightly on lips
* Geo Tri Color Lenses in Green

    The purple and the rust colours look gorgeous together. I was on the fence with the purple pigment but I might get it now!

    btw did you use a blending colour above the purple?

    Thanks Amy =) I did not use a blending color, just the NARS Lil Marlene (which is a medium gray) as a base.

    The lipstick looks distracting; it was the first thing I looked at – very pretty!

    You pull off the es colors really well, without looking muddy. I can’t seem to make matt es work on my lower lashes…:(

    Thanks AtelierGal! The colors I used weren’t matte (one is a highly shimmery pigment and the color is glitter).

    To wear matte eyeshadow, you really need to pack it on for it to show. You can try lining your lower lashline with a gel liner before topping it with es – it will bring out the color more.
