Meeting François Nars and Ayako at NARS Loves Chicago Event

My dream of meeting the legendary François Nars *finally* came true today! I have been a fan of François’ work for years (I bought my first NARS almost 10 years ago when I was still in high school back in Hong Kong!) and being able to meet the guru in his flesh and talk to him felt soooooo surreal! I literally felt like an obsessed Twilight fan meeting R-Pat *lol*

Here is me with the super sweet and gorgeous NARS International Makeup Director, Ayako. She gave me a few pointers for us Asian girls and also recommended a look for me.

The moment I have been dying for – meeting François and getting my X-ray book signed! See how my makeup looks different here? You guessed it right – I got a makeover from NARS national makeup artist Francine Phillips with color recs from Ayako herself.

The limited edition NARS Loves Chicago Set featuring discontinued products: Babylon Duo Eyeshadow, Nightbird Single Eyeshadow, Passion Blush and Transformer Nail Lacquer.

Stay tuned for pictures of my haul and a breakdown of my makeover!
