Red Carpet Beauty: Rihanna at 2009 MET Gala

May 5, 2009

Dressed in a sleek black and white Dolce & Gabbana suit at the 2009 “Model as Muse: Embodying Fashion” Costume Institute Gala last night, Rihanna is officially back and looking good!

I am not too sure of the puffy sleeves but I *love* the navy blue and warm coral combo on the eyes and the nude lip. It is definitely more fun than the regular smoky eyes we see on the red carpet. What do you ladies think?

I’d love it a whole lot more without the obvious lipliner! Everything else (maybe not the sleeves) is fabulous. Something different!

i don’t really like rihanna’s costume, but i must admit she had the most unique look there. almost everyone else played it too safe by wearing cocktail dresses and regular cut gowns.

….i really dont know what to say about the outfitter

the eyes look like the tacky skating outfits of my youth,
the lips look like they were drawn on by a kindergartner with crayon,
and the outfit looks like a transformer, as stated above.

…but somehow she manages to pull it all off and look fabulous? 🙂

Huh? Wtf? This is not a good look at all! She’s gonna look back at this in ten years time and think, “What the hell was I thinking?!?” Lol!

I can’t stand her clothes! They are ridiculous! Just because you’re dramatic, it doesn’t mean you’re stylish.
