I’m not into cosplay and have never been to an anime convention but I grew up watching a lot of anime so I thought it would be nice to check it out.

Not to go all dork on you, but my experience from being subjected to mostly boy-oriented animated cartoons when I was younger tells me that the guy next to Naruto is Tai Kamiya from Digimon, not Chouji Akimichi. I could be wrong.

zomg! ACEN!!! i staffed at ACEN in 2004 and 2005. Oh how i missed it! i remember being in awe and fascinated surrounded by the costumes and otakus everywhere. prior to that ive only ever seen pics of anime convention online. it’s super fun to actually experience what it’s all about.

I was trying to find pics of myself as Naruto from another convention and I found this one instead. Thanks for posting it online. I’ll be back at ACEN next year, so you may see me again
