Hey how’s everyone been? I’ve been swamped doing my last minute shopping, pigging out and catching up with family and friends before I fly back to Chicago this Sunday. Below are a few highlights of the past week:
* Meeting with Jaz and Ivy from Beauty Exchange on an upcoming project. Ladies in Hong Kong, you are going to love this!
* I will be appearing on AOL’s Beauty Blog, Stylelist. More details to come shortly!
* I picked up some of the latest Asian beauty products just for you ladies. Will post details about the giveaway soon.

hey Phyllis, will you be doing a review on the Make up forever HD foundation? I remember you said that was coming up, I just wanted to hear your personal opinion about it because it’s the biggest fad right now! Enjoy your last days in Hong Kong 😉
I hope you have fun during the last couple day with your family and friends before coming back to the state!
yeah like Jane said, will u be doing review on the make up forever hd foundation?! I’ve been coming back to your site almost everything day just to check if you have done that review. lol
i hope you do and i’ll be looking forward to it!
For some reason Beauty Exchange has been a pain to load these days… 🙁 I almost can’t access to it…
have a safe journey home 😀 i hope HK was a blast!!!
I’m sure Phyllis will make a much better review of this product but I also tried the Makeup forever HD foundation. It has medium coverage and can be built up (layerable). It goes on very smoothly – I use a sponge or brush to apply it. In my opinion, this foundation is very overrated because it “melts” after a few hours (I have combination skin) though the colour doesn’t oxidize. It also doesn’t give the “natural” finish that I would like. If you are looking for a more natural finish from the same line, I would suggest Makeup forever Face and Body foundation. I’m Ivory #20 for MUFE face and body foundation, and #117 for HD foundation (MAC NC20-25). If this foundation did not claim to be “HD” and so forth, I think I would have liked this foundation more. For the price and its claims, I don’t think it’s that great. I prefer Clinique’s “even better” foundation as it lasts a long time (even though it doesn’t claim to be long-wearing), looks very natural and has actually lightened a bit of my acne scars.
Hi, i just know ur website through other blogs,
quite enjoy to see everything on ur site.
i have added u on my facebook.
happy Easter & have safe journey ^-^
Hi! I’ve been swamped as well, but I’m sure being swamped by school/work isn’t nearly as much fun as being swamped by shopping & time with friends and family, lol. Hope you had a great trip and look forward to your posts on it. =)
Very beautiful make up looks. The make up has to definitely be very dramatic in order to complement the colorful outfits. By the way, I had no idea gel eyeliner could be applied inside the eye!!
I caved… and bought 5 glitter e/l… now I can go back to study
