FOTD: Bollywood Inspired Red and Copper Eye Makeup

March 5, 2009

I have always loved the bright, dramatic makeup in Bollywood and below is my take. Check back for a more detailed entry on how to capture the look.

What I Used

* Estee Lauder Nutritious Vita-Mineral Makeup SPF10 in Intensity 2.0
* Stila Espresso Eyeshadow to fill in eyebrows
* Sleek I-Divine Palette in Jewels on the eyes (mango yellow color on top row second from the right as a base, coppery red color on top left on entire eyelid and mahogany color on top row second from the left on crease and lower eye)
* MAC Fluidline in Blacktrack on both upper and lower lash lines
* Taiwanese False Eyelashes on top
* Maybelline Lash Stiletto Mascara in Very Black on bottom lashes
* MAC Foolish Me Sheertone Shimmer Blush dabbed lightly on the cheeks
* MAC So Scarlet Lipstick painted on with a brush
* Rhinestones from Broadway Deluxe Nail & Body Art Kit glued on with Duo Lash Adhesive

    Awesome! You look a bit like an elf, but that may be because of your hair. Anyway, very dramatic and nice^^

    Hey Phyllis,
    Love the look. Could you tell me where I can purchase the I-Divine in Jewel? I know it’s a international product but every website I’ve looked at only has Chaos or Storm.
    Thx much!

    Thanks =)

    Sarah, the Jewels palette was limited edition and it came out in 2008. I can get my sister to check to see if they are still selling it in London.
