I just want to give a HUGE thank you to those of you who took the time to e-mail me/leave a comment about Dawn’s blog. I really appreciate you ladies trying to protect my interest and look out for me – you guys are the best! I would also like to take this opportunity to point out that I will not tolerate plagiarism. If you would like to use my content, feel free to do so but please remember to cite me.

If you have no idea what I am talking about, here is what happened in a nutshell:-

It all started last week when another blogger in Asia, Dawn Yang, copied and pasted a paragraph from one of my older entries on her blog and paraphrased a sentence without sourcing me. Soon afterwards, people started sending her hate mail and used this to bash her on blogs and forums. I got in touch with Dawn to see what’s up and to hear her side of the story. She wrote back, apologized and said she was doing research for her blog and had no idea she took the information from a personal blog. She has now cited me on her blog and everything is cool between us.

Please do not use this incident against her anymore. No one needs the unnecessary drama =)

Why am I not surprised to hear this.
Not trying to start flames, but this isn’t the first time Dawn has plagiarized. =.=

Gosh, you handle it like such a lady. I tend to rip anybody head off if they steal my ideas.

Are you even aware that this isn’t the first time she’s done this, and that Dawn -is- famous as an asian blogger for being a plagiarizer? IMHO, I strongly believe that Dawn definitely lied to you about her “doing research for her blog and had no idea she took the information from a personal blog”

Oh well, she got caught in the act, and things are cleared up I guess. Lol ^ sorry if i sound really pissed, and yes, I read the last sentence. . .but it’s just that this is one of my favourite makupe blogs and I hate to see it used without permission/sourcing.
