Like most Japanese sunscreens, this goes on greasy but dries to a very matte finish and I mean very. In fact, it is so matte that it made my nose slightly flaky. Plus it gave my skin a ghostly white cast which was so not hot! So yes this may come with a high SPF and pretty models in their ads, but I will not be buying this again.

I have to say most Japanese sunscreen lotions that come out this summer have defeated the white-cast effect !
Try them out, and you won’t be disappointed ! BTW, most of the sunscreens give matte finish in Asia because of the humidity here : )

I’ve been using shiseido’s extra smooth and ultimate protection sunscreen lotions. I like the extra smooth better though. I almost bought anessa while I was at narita airport,, thank goodness i didn’t!
