FOTD: Lily Cole Inspired 60’s Mod Makeup Tutorial

March 17, 2007

I have gotten quite a number of people asking about the Lily Cole ad for Accessorize I posted so here is me trying to dupe the look (minus the crazy big hair of course *lol*)

What I Used

* Bourjois Glitter Pencil in Black
* MAC Liquidlast liner in Point Black
* White eyeshadow from Kate eyeshadow palette
* Ardell falsies
* Giorgio Armani Lipstick Mania in #32
* Baby Pink Lipgloss

How To

1. Using a black pencil eyeliner, line your entire upper and outer half of your lower lash lines. Drag the line all the way up to your crease.

2. Go over the line with a black liquid liner to make it more dramatic.

3. Sweep a white powder eyeshadow along the inner half of your lower eye.

4. Apply falsies on your top lashes. For a more doll-like look, apply mascara on your lower lashes as well.

5. Apply an apricot blush along your cheekbones.

6. Slick on a peachy nude gloss.

    wow somehow you manage to pull that look off without looking completely crazy like you’re trying to draw a crease. Perhaps it’s a still or perhaps you have the large double eyelid to pull it off but you did a great job.

    I think this is one of the coolest looks you’ve done! It’s crazy, but it looks so good!

    I was wondering, what is your ‘normal’ daily make-up like?

    Hey Phyllis,
    I was just wondering which Ardell falsies you used to create this look, and where can I purchase them from?
    I live in the UK so if they’re only available in the US, is it possible for you to direct me to site that sells them?

    Thanks =)

    Angela,

    I get my Ardell lashes from a local beauty store here in Chicago but I believe this site sells them:
