Stila Angel Light Whitening Powder Foundation Review

Stila Angel Light Whitening Powder FoundationWhen I saw pictures of the Asian exclusive Stila Angel Light Whitening Powder Foundation (~$47), I could not resist the super cute packaging and ended up going through great lengths to get my hands on it.

The foundation came with SPF24+ and whitening properties to brighten your skin. Although I did not notice any brightening effect on my skin, the high SPF was definitely a plus. The finish was also very matte yet did not accentuate any dry patches.

The one thing that needed improvement though, was the color range. While I got the foundation in my usual Stila shade (C), it was very yellow – even on my Asian skintone. Plus when it oxidized throughout the day, it got darker by almost a shade!! As much as I loved the cute packaging, I will not repurchase.

  1. I purchased this product at a store called ‘Dealz’ which is a branch of Poundland basically, they do different famous brands every week (Revlon, Sally Hansen and Rimmel are common). I seen Stila and had to pick it up, not realising how much I had saved. It cost me €1.50! I love this foundation, it’s not cakey like other powders and leaves a flawless finish, overall happy with the product!
