MAC’s latest collection, Lingerie, launched on Dec 26th and contains shades of pinks, beiges, mauves and browns.
Petticoat Mineralize Skinfinish ($22.50)
MAC describes this color as a “pale rose with gold and amber veining” but don’t let the word pale fool you. The color is highly pigmented and one swipe along your cheekbones will give you a healthy flush. This has become one of my favorite blushes.
Goldenaire Pigment ($19.50)
Described as a “pink with gold pearl”, this color looks more like a peachy gold to me. It is very similar to Deckchair with just a teeny bit of more pink in it.
Lovely Lily Pigment ($19.50)
Although it is a “lilac with red pearl”, I do not see any red in this. On me, it is a very shimmery cool-toned lilac that flashes grey, kind of like a darker and more purplish version of Kitschmas. The texture is very blendable and smooth. Very pretty and lasts really well.
Pink Slip Eyeshadow ($14.50)
MAC describes this as a “dusty pink with pearl”. The color is a light pink packed with gold glitter that is oh-so-pretty, just like a lighter version of Banshee. But unlike Banshee or other Lustre eyeshadows, the glitter in this one is extremely fine and not gritty so you won’t find it falling under your eyes or anywhere. I use this as either as a base with Lovely Lily all over or as a crease color paired with something else.
Overall, I really like this collection. If you are looking for something feminine, sexy yet sheer, this is definitely the collection for you.
