The lower eye seems to be getting quite some love at Fashion Week. After the Swarovski crystals embellished eye at Rodarte in New York, comes a doll-like lash across the pond at Mary Katrantzou A/W 2015. Kind of reminds you of an edgier version of this look from Vivienne Tam S/S 2010k doesn’t it?
A reverse cateye with lots of lashes dominated the runway of Nicholas K A/W ’14. “It’s really just a modern egdy twist on a classic cat eye,” explained Avon Global Celebrity Makeup Artist Lauren Andersen. “The bold geometrically bottom-lined lashes were balanced with a more neutral lip.” Catch the 411 on the look after the jump!
At Atelier Versace Fall 2013 Couture, the look was signature Donatella Versace – a sultry eye with lots of lashes and “just a bit of smoke”, paired with bare lips. To get the look, Pat McGrath applied two and a half rows of false eyelashes to both top and bottom lids. With all the snow we are getting in the Midwest, I decided to heat things up with a smoldering eye using purple and a touch of turquoise and blue. Summer please come already!
A dramatic, smudgy eye decked with feathery lashes added a strong contrast to the romantic pieces at the Chanel Spring 2013 Couture runway show at Paris earlier this week.
False eyelashes are always a great way to make a statement and with the new Katy Perry Eylure Color Pop Lashes, you can now add in a pop of color to your lashes for even more fun.
