Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade Review and Swatches

February 23, 2014

As much as I love using powder to fill in brows, I have been converted by the new Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade, a smudge-free, waterproof pomade that doubles as a brow definer and eyeliner.

Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade Review

Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade in Dark Brown

Packaged in a glass pot with a lid, the Dipbrow Pomade resembles a gel eyeliner. There are 5 shades available to suit different skin tones and hair colors. Blonde, the lightest out of them all, is a light brown, while Ebony, the darkest, is a dark black-brown. For my light black Asian hair, I use Dark Brown, which is a neutral dark brown color.

The Dipbrow Pomade felt very creamy and glided on with ease. It was insanely pigmented and dried off to a soft matte finish in just seconds. When I take the slightest bit of product to outline my brow then blend with a spoolie, I get a softer look like I would with powder. But when I really pack it on with a dense brush, I get a stronger, more defined brow. Talk about versatility!

Another thing I loved about this was the longevity. Just as claimed, the formula was very long-wearing and did it not smear a bit even when I ran warm water over it. Those with oily skin or live in humid places will love this!

I have the chocolate, its slightly lighter and a little softer, but the dark brown looks good on you!

Thanks 🙂 I was debating between Dark Brown and Chocolate but eventually settled for Dark Brown because Chocolate was too warm on me.
