This year at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, the Angels looked their usual sexy selves with a more natural, less bronzed look.
Makeup
Lead makeup artist Tom Pecheux started with VS Makeup Tinted Moisturizer and PRO Flawless FX Translucent Powder before adding VS Makeup Lumimous Mineral Blush Duo in Pleasure on the cheeks. For “fresh, dolly” eyes, Tom rimmed the lash lines with VS Beauty Rush Precision Eye Pencil in Pitch Black then added VS Beauty Rush Precision Eye Pencil in Foxy on top and blended it out for a bit of a cat-eye effect. Next, he added brown, gold and taupe colors from VS Makeup Eye Shadow Quad in Eye Contact on the eyes and coated lashes with VS Makeup Extra-Lengthening Mascara, black on top and brown on the bottom. To finish, Makeup Beauty Rush Glossy Tint Lip Sheens in Better Than Bare and Manic Pink were applied on the lips.
Nails
Nail guru Yuna Park painted the Angels’ nails VS’ upcoming nail line in Bitten, a sheer nude pink, while Peep Show, a bolder, more glittery pink, was used on the Pink models.

The eye looks are interesting. I don’t think I ever blend enough to get that subtle definition at the top AND bottom of the eye without it looking either too sharp or too muddy. I also don’t get the brow eye shadow extending the outer corner of the eyes just right. It’s something I aspire to do someday… Phyllis, you should give some tips 🙂
but… meh… am I the only one that isn’t really a fan of Victora’s Secret?
Hi Vanessa,
This year’s eye look is definitely different from previous shows. To get that sharp, defined crease, I would recommend applying the color with a pencil brush (try MAC #219) or even drawing the line directly onto the crease with a pencil eyeliner.
If you are going for a softer look, just run a pencil eyeliner along the upper and lower lashlines and smudge it out with a fluffy brush.
