The metallic parquet in Karl Lagerfeld’s new studio served as inspiration for the silver eyes and pink lips at the Chanel Spring/Summer 2013 show.
To create the look, Chanel Creative Director of Makeup Peter Philips blended Illusion d’Ombre Long-Wear Luminous Eyeshadow in a new, platinum color from the lid all the way up to the brows. He then swiped several coats of Inimitable Intense Mascara in Noir before tracing the upper and lower lashlines with Stylo Yeux Waterproof Long-Lasting Eyeliner in Ebene and the inner rims with Le Crayon Kohl in Graphite.
To balance the intensity of the eyes, Philips finished with defined brows, flawless skin and shiny lips, using Crayon Sourcils Sculpting Eyebrow Pencils, Vitalumiere Satin Smoothing Fluid Makeup, Rouge Allure Luminous Satin Lipcolor in Gracile and Lèvres Scintillantes Glossimer in Plaisir.
