Fusion Beauty Virtual Finish Powder Review

December 16, 2010

FusionBeauty Virtual Finishing Powder from the Objects of Desire collection comes in a cute vintage-inspired glass perfume atomizer bottle so you can spray directly onto your face and décolletage for immediate radiance.

All you have to do is gently squeeze the bulb and the powder will come out in a super fine mist that applies evenly with zero splotches. I definitely like how easy it is to use, not to mention it saves you the time and mess of having to apply the powder with a brush.

The Virtual Finishing Powder also contains Granactive Powder-168 to stimulate collagen growth and cellular turnover and reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles in the long run. Talk about killing two birds with one stone!

Color-wise, we have Opulent (pictured above), a pearlized peach that creates a shimmery finish and Perfector, a white that goes on colorless to create a translucent mattifying effect. Both create a nice, subtle glow on my NC30 skin without adding much color and can be used to set makeup as well.

While I do like the atomizer bottle and the glow the powder creates, I have to take a point off for the lack of a cap or something to cover the opening. I kept a bottle in my makeup bag and it ended up leaking all over. Definitely keep this at home standing upright!

The Virtual Finishing Powder is now available at FusionBeauty.com and Sephora for $29.

      Angie,

The powders are not meant to provide coverage but more like a glow to your skin that’s why they don’t add much color.

The bottles are very pretty and I would love to display it on my dresser.

I have always been temped by these bottles with puffy, atomizer bottles for powders. Thanks for letting me know they spill…I think they are not easy to use, I mean using atomizer to get the powder out. is that correct?
