Smudgy Eyes at Jill Stuart A/W ’14

February 12, 2014

Inspired by the “it girls” of today and Parisian gritty chic style, the Jill Stuart A/W ’14 collection was designed with a reformed rock n’roll wild child in mind. As a result, models were given an uber smudgy eye look with dewy skin and nude nails.

Working for Maybelline, makeup artist Aaron de Mey used different shades of liners – Master Smoky in Blue Blaze, Master Smoky in Emerald Fury, Master Drama in Vibrant Violet and Lasting Drama Gel Liner in Egglant – on different models. He rimmed the lids with a color based on the models’ skintone and kept it heavier on the bottom for a smudgy, unlined look. The skin was made dewy and clean with Maybelline BB Cream and Dream Lumi Concealer while brows were brushed with Great Lash in Clear and lips coated with Baby Lips Dr. Rescue in Too Cool.

Rita Remark for essie created an updated nude manicure with a matte finish. She started with ridge filling base coat, followed by two thin coats of allure and one coat of matte about you top coat.
