Earlier today, Scarlett Johansson showed up at the Moet & Chandon’s “Tribute To Cinema” in Tokyo looking super gorgeous in a sleeveless red dress with a dramatic smoky eye and glowy skin.
Yigal’s spring 2010 line is feminine, yet deconstructed, so to play off of the collection, Bobbi Brown created a natural look featuring a strong ‘smudged’ smoky eye.
Now that I’m feeling much better, I finally got to play with the MAC Make-Up Art Cosmetics Fall 2009 Collection goodies I picked up =)
Besides meeting François at the NARS Loves Chicago Event (omg omg omg!!!), I also got a makeover from NARS national artist Francine Philips who works closely with Ayako. The look was picked out by Ayako herself and she suggested a “smoky eye with very pale lips” to go with my fake lashes.
If you like the idea of smoky eyes but want to switch things up a bit, take a cue from Kristen Stewart by using a color that has the same undertones as your eye color. See how Kristen used a color that flashes green on the eyelid and lower eye to play up her green eyes? Here I am using a copper eyeshadow with green undertones to make my green contacts pop. More after the jump!
