Black nose strips have finally made their way to the US with Boscia Pore Purifying Black Strips!

Using a similar technology to the Luminizing Black Mask I previously reviewed, the Pore Purifying Black Strips are formulated with Activated Charcoal, Silica, Witch Hazel Extract, Peony Root Extract, Menthol, Jojoba and Willowherb to absorb excess oil and impurities, exfoliate, tighten pores and deposit potent botanicals and antioxidants into the skin.

MAC Microfine RefinisherFor years, I have been using MAC Microfine Refinisher ($26.50) and I always go back to it.

The scrub contains “microfine crystals used in professional micro-dermabrasion to gently slough and refinish the skin, leaving it smooth, soft, naturally glowing”.

I use this on both my face and body and it is one of the most effective exfoliators out there. Although the beads are really fine, do not be fooled by their size as they can be quite abrasive.

A little also goes a long way and it always gets rid of all my flakes without irritating or drying out my skin, leaving it feeling oh-so-smooth. Everyone should keep a tube handy!

When I read that British singer Cheryl Cole swears by Sudocrem Antiseptic Healing Cream – a British drugstore treatment to treat nappy rash – for blemishes, I was really tempted to try it out for myself. But the thought of applying something that is meant for your buttocks on your face (same as using Preparation H for undereye bags) just seems a little off to me. So once I found out that about the new Sudocrem Skin Care Cream, which by the way, has absolutely NO mention of buttocks anywhere, I immediately got a tube shipped to me straight from the UK.

Sudocrem Skin Care Cream

My skin has always been pretty clear but for the last 2+ months, I have fallen under the curse of clogged pores. Out of nowhere, these nasty little white bumps (milia perhaps?) cropped up on my cheeks right next to my nose. Regardless of how much I exfoliate and try to extract them, they just kept coming back.

Out of desperation, I decided to return to my favorite SkinCeuticals Retinol. Only this time, I uped the potency to the maximum strength, 1.0%.

There is no doubt that I love Kanebo Sensai and my latest must-have from the brand is Cellular Performance Wrinkle Repair Collagenergy SPF 20 .

Meant to be used in the AM as the last step of your skincare regimen and before makeup, the Wrinkle Repair Collagenergy helps to awaken skin cells and promote collagen synthesis for a firmer, rejuvenated, radiant appearance.
