Inspired by ’80s fashion icon Tina Chow, the Gucci A/W 2009 show was all about “a glittering, glamorous time, when going out was a way of life.” The collection had a really nice palette of colors which included turquoise, azul, violet, red, gray and black. Pieces ranged from kimono tops in asymmetrical stripes, polka-dot dresses, super metallic blouses, tailored pants and sparkly leggings and jumpsuit.
To complement the signature colorful prints that was spotted at the Peter Pilotto Fall 2009 show, MAC makeup artist Ayami Nishimura created a “classic and sophisticated” look with maroon eyes, contoured cheeks and coral lips. “She is a really expensive woman. The look is inspired by the late 80’s and early 90’s.” said Nishimura.
So I have showed you the hair and makeup that was spotted at the Vivienne Westwood Red Label Fall 2009 show at London Fashion Week. Below are the face charts.
Grunge, sci-fi and New Age travelers were the inspirations behind the designs of Jacqui Markham and Karen Bonser at the Topshop Unique Fall 2009 show.
The collection consists of layers of oversized chunky sweaters and scarves in bright colors along with metallic leather tunics, bodysuits and glow-in-the-dark accessories. Kind of hot and definitely not for the shy.
