I showed you the bright lips and flushed cheeks at the Vena Cava Fall 2010 show yesterday and here is a breakdown of the look by MAC.
“The feeling was 1930’s prostitute – trampy, smoky eye, deep “rougeoir” lips and beautiful pale skin.” – Charlotte Tilbury for MAC.
When it comes to the makeup, the lips are still the focus at the Vena Cava Fall 2010 show. Only this time, we have a bright red with a tad of orange undertones paired with a matching blush applied heavily on the cheeks. Are we liking this over the purple lip with taupe eyes that MAC created for the Spring 2010 show?
Featuring a gorgeous collection of dresses in muted mauve, peach, rose, teal and beige, the Ellie Saab Spring 2010 Haute Couture collection has some of the prettiest pieces for spring. Plus the soft, glowy makeup along with the braided half updos are just *beautiful*!
Inspired by Moctezuma the Aztec emperor along with Avatar’s tribal-eco message, the Jean Paul Gaultier Spring 2010 Haute Couture collection is full of colors, huge hats, braids, leaves and even feather. While I can’t picture anyone actually wearing the over-the-top collection, the colorful, tribal makeup is definitely something that I like (and they used my favorite MAC pigments to create this look too!)
