Gold is no doubt a popular choice of color when it comes to the makeup at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim. At the Mara Hoffman show, Make Up For Ever Alliance Artist Lottie created a bold smoky eye with “desert outlaw” flair with the color while TIGI Global Creative Director Nick Irwin added a creative take on textured tribalism with un-done, voluminous curls with a touch of beach-side glam and leather.
At the Dolores Cortes show at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim 2013, Make Up For Ever Alliance Artist Lottie combined sexy cat eyes with a bold pink statement lip for a punchy neon pop. Love how the look worked with the matching hair and nails without being over the top!
Once again, Make Up For Ever Alliance Artist James Vincent brought us a gorgeous look at the Cia.Maritima Show during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim in Miami. Breakdown after the jump!
Colored brows have been spotted on the runways for a few seasons now and being a sucker for pink, I naturally opted for the color in my long-due version. The end result was a fun look with eyes and lips drenched in soft, sherbet colors.
To complement the black, gray and dusty pink theme at the Chanel Fall/Winter 2012 Couture Collection, Creative Director of Makeup Peter Philips created a gray smoky eye with soft cheeks and nude pink lips that are pretty and undeniably perfect for fall.
Marie Antoinette served as the inspiration for the pink makeup and pastel wigs at the Chanel Cruise 2013 Show in Paris this week. To create the “between girly and rebel” look, Chanel Creative Director of Makeup Peter Philips covered models’ eyes, cheeks and lips with a tangy pink and paired it with a dash of beige liner on the inner rims of the eyes, defined brows and clean skin. But the most interesting part of the look belonged to the little black velvet Chanel logo “beauty marks” that were placed on top of models’ cheekbones. Definitely keep an eye out for them in the upcoming Collection Versailles de Chanel!
