Inspired by Moctezuma the Aztec emperor along with Avatar’s tribal-eco message, the Jean Paul Gaultier Spring 2010 Haute Couture collection is full of colors, huge hats, braids, leaves and even feather. Described as “silver and pastel” by Karl Lagerfeld, the Chanel Spring 2010 Haute Couture collection is one of my favorite couture collections of all time. First we saw it at the Proenza Schouler and Giles Deacon Spring 2010 shows, now it is all over the Alexis Mabille Spring 2010 Haute Couture runway. Are colorful locks here to stay? Do you like the look?
I know you ladies are totally stoked about the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show that’s coming up so here are some pictures of the models getting ready straight from backstage! I will post a makeup and hair breakdown shortly!
For the Rodarte Spring 2010, hairstylist Odile Gilbert led a team from Aveda and created a super edgy yet natural look. The hair is matte and roughed-up, and pinned away from the face in a thin veil of black wool into a braid-like cascade.
