At the Chris Benz Spring 2012 show, Lancome‘s Daniel Martin used Candy Darling – a 1960′s nightclub fixture – as muse and created fresh, clean skin with shades of mint green on the eyes, tangerine blush on the cheeks and a bright, pouty lip.
Inspired by Nineties graffiti artist Kaws and Sixties pop-art, makeup artist Diane Kendal working for MAC Cosmetics gave models clean skin, defined eyes and “one big pop of color” on the lips.
“A free-spirited woman in pursuit of love” was the inspiration behind the Joy Cioci Spring 2012 presentation. And to reflect that, Uzo, NARS National Makeup Artist gave models dewy skin and bright, neon-red lips while CDN‘s Candice Manacchio gave models “Lucite Lace” manicures.
To go with the super-chic wedding party theme at the Imitation of Christ Spring 2012 show, my favorite makeup artist, Gina Brooke from Hourglass Cosmetics, devised a look that showcased flawless skin, vivid eyes and stained lips. Simply gorgeous!
