At the Cushnie et Ochs Fall 2010 show, the look is all about a sultry smoky eye in plum and reddish brown with a dash of shimmer in the inner eye and nude lips. At the Jeremy Scott Spring 2010 show, models strutted around in Flintstones-inspired outfits, crazy crimped ponytails and super glittery eye makeup. Definitely not your everyday look.
“The inspiration for the look is Murano glass – multi-coloured but in a painterly way.” – Val Garland
At the Luella Spring 2010 show in London, Hannah Murray from L’oreal Paris created a look she refers to as “manga meets Princess Margaret” to go with the bright color palette of lemon, lipstick red, aqua, camel and sugar pink.
