Puckering up to our favorite lip gloss at a restaurant after a meal, reapplying that disappearing eyeliner in the bathroom of the hottest club, powdering our noses on the train – we have all done our makeup in public to a certain extent.

While some people take it to the extreme (I have seen girls do their whole face – foundation, concealer, powder, eyeshadow, eyeliner, mascara, blush, lips etc. – on the train), I am only guilty of touching up my eye and lip makeup in public.

So let me ask you ladies, what’s your take on painting your faces in public? Do you do it and how far would you go?

We all know beauty comes with a price and 26 year-old British singer Cheryl Cole is reported to spend a whopping £200,000 (~$330,000) a year just on hair extensions, lash extensions, fake tans, nails and makeup etc.

Now you ladies know I heart anything beauty-related and I will splurge on products to make myself look and feel great. The most expensive product I have ever treated myself to is a $200 Sisley eye cream and my annual spending is somewhere between $5000 to $10000. But even that, according to my friends, is a tad excessive. So what about you ladies? How much do you spend in a year and when is it too much?

For me, it is definitely liquid because it is the biggest no-brainer and works on pretty much all skin types. Plus you can get the sheerest to the heaviest coverage with liquid foundations and you can blend different colors together.

For me, it is definitely a tie between bright colors and dark smoky eyes. I *love* using bright teals and violets to make my brown eyes pop but you can never go wrong with smoky bronzes and plums either. What about you ladies?

Ladies, it’s poll time again and this time, I want to know the product you are having the most problem with.

For me, there is definitely room for improvement in blending eyeshadow so if any one of you would like to offer advice/feedback, please leave a comment!
