So I finally went to MAC and checked out their latest Brunette, Blonde, Redhead collection and I’m so glad to see that MAC has redeemed themselves and did a great job with this collection (sorry but I still think Dame Edna was a mistake!) The promo pic is totally hot and there is a really nice selection of colors with good quality. Read on for the reviews and more pictures.
The Lipsticks ($14) are new colors, except Marquise D’, which is a repromote from the Royal Assets Coral Lip Palette in the Antiquitease collection and the perfect nude pink lipstick for me. The colors are all very wearable and leave behind a glossy sheen.
• Brunette: Chignon, What a ‘Do!
• Blonde: B-Babe, All’s Fair
• Redhead: Marquise D’, Blow Dry
MAC’s first collection in 2009, Brunette, Blonde, Redhead is hitting stores today! The collection contains 3 different sets of colors that tailor specifically to your hair color so regardless of whether you are a brunette, blonde or redhead, you can easily find something that will suit you.
A huge thanks to Jackie for this:

Despite the non-appealing products, this collection does have some interesting looks.
Start off by grooming brows with Clear Brow Set. Highlight browbone with Wisteria in Wisteria Eye Trio with a 224 Brush. Gently pat Luna Cream Colour Base on the eyelid using a 231 Brush, followed with Fineshine in Wisteria Eye Trio on the centre of the eyelid and Climate Blue in Royal Tour Eye Trio on the inner and outer portions using a 224 Brush. Line the upper lashline with Divine Night in Wisteria Eye Trio with a 219 Brush, and the lower with Climate Blue and Dame’s Desire in Royal Tour Eye Trio. Finish by coating the lashes with Black X Mascara X.
Colour cheeks by applying What a Dame! High-Light Powder using a 168 Brush.
Line the outer edges of lips with Cherry Lip Pencil. Fill in with Kanga-Rouge and Coral Polyp Lipsticks using a 311 Brush. Finish off look with Possum Nose Pink Lipglass.
No offense but how MAC can come up with this collection is totally beyond my comprehension! The colors are boring and the plastic lavender packaging with holographic stars and glittery red glasses is just tacky. I am so glad this is limited edition!*shudders*
With its latest Chill Collection
, MAC brings us a palette of cool-toned colors in pinks and grays. Overall, the colors in the collection are pretty but if you are a MAC regular, nothing will really jump at you.
