MAC Too Fabulous Collection Mineralize Blush Duo Reviews and Swatches

The new and limited edition Mineralize Blush Duo ($23) from the latest MAC Too Fabulous Collection combines 2 complementary colors that swirl into an abstract pattern to deliver “sheer colour and a soft, dimensional pearl finish”.

Two Virtues is a cool-based light pink paired with a light violet, which are both really pretty. The pink is identical to that in the Love Rock Mineralize Blush Duo.

Buddy Up contains a rosy bronze and a warm medium pink.

Rhapsody in Two is a light champagne color paired with a pale pink. Perfect combo as a highlighter and blush for light skin.

Bi-Tone is a gorgeous combo of rosy pink with a coppery bronze. Both colors show up super pigmented but also have the chunkiest texture, especially the bronze.

Sun & Moon is a light bronze color paired with a pink brown.

Chic Couple is a light bronze paired with a peachy brown. Very similar to Sun & Moon.

Just like the Mineralize Blush Duos that were previously released, these new ones are very frosty with great color payoff. Most of them have a smooth texture but the brown ones tend to be more gritty. The color selection is nice but could definitely use more variety. These colors have been done over and over again.

Featuring 5 new and limited edition colors and a repromote from the permanent line, the Lip Pencils ($13) from MAC’s Too Fabulous Collection are a great complement to the Cremesheen Glass.

* In Synch – This is a very pretty light pink that would go very well with light pink lipsticks.
* Naked Liner – This is a light flesh color. Perfect for pairing with nude lips or you can use it as a concealer around the lips if you have light skin.
* Boldy Bare – This is a muddy brown color.
* Trimmed in Pink – This is a fuchsia color.
* Mouth Off – This is a dark coral.
* Chestnut – This repromote is a dark brown color. It will most likely work on darker skin tones or if you do a dark lip.

I’m not usually a lip liner person (I think I only have 3?) but I do like these Lip Pencils. They have a creamy texture that glide on easily but also manage to stay put really well. Would definitely love to see more nude colors in the future.

Cremesheen Glass ($18) have always been my favorite lip gloss formula from MAC and I am *so* glad they are made permanent! Unlike MAC’s Tinted Lipglass, the Cremesheen Glass never dry out my lips or leave behind that nasty white ring. Plus the texture is super creamy, totally non-tacky and gives loads of shine. All I can say is L-O-V-E!

* Partial to Pink – This is a repromote from the Creme Team Collection that came out last year. The color is a beautiful nude pink. Click here for a swatch of me wearing it.

* Just Superb – This is a beautiful muted pink that is just a shade darker than Partial Pink. It is also one of my favorites from the collection.

* Deelight – This is a muted brown pink that is darker than Just Superb.

* Over Indulgence – This is a neutral brown color.

* Fashion Scoop – This repromote from the Creme Team Collection is a very light pink with sparkles. It shows up almost clear.

* Boy Bait – This is also a repromote from the Creme Team Collection . It is a light nude beige color with tiny sparkles.
