MAC has finally uploaded the Brunette Blonde Redhead Looks on its website!
What A Do!
Despite the non-appealing products, this collection does have some interesting looks.
Start off by grooming brows with Clear Brow Set. Highlight browbone with Wisteria in Wisteria Eye Trio with a 224 Brush. Gently pat Luna Cream Colour Base on the eyelid using a 231 Brush, followed with Fineshine in Wisteria Eye Trio on the centre of the eyelid and Climate Blue in Royal Tour Eye Trio on the inner and outer portions using a 224 Brush. Line the upper lashline with Divine Night in Wisteria Eye Trio with a 219 Brush, and the lower with Climate Blue and Dame’s Desire in Royal Tour Eye Trio. Finish by coating the lashes with Black X Mascara X.
Colour cheeks by applying What a Dame! High-Light Powder using a 168 Brush.
Line the outer edges of lips with Cherry Lip Pencil. Fill in with Kanga-Rouge and Coral Polyp Lipsticks using a 311 Brush. Finish off look with Possum Nose Pink Lipglass.
No offense but how MAC can come up with this collection is totally beyond my comprehension! The colors are boring and the plastic lavender packaging with holographic stars and glittery red glasses is just tacky. I am so glad this is limited edition!*shudders*
Shade in the brows using Brule Eye Shadow and a 266 Brush. Highlight the browbone by sweeping Nanogold Eye Shadow over the area using a 224 Brush. Lightly pat Fresco Rose Paint Pot on the eyelid with a 239 Brush, followed by Sweet Chestnut Eye Shadow using a 217 Brush. Add more depth to the eyes by using Spiced Chocolate Eye Shadow and a 219 Brush. Using a 219 Brush run Sweet Chestnut Eye Shadow over the lower lashline. Coat lashes with one application of Coal Black Pro Lash.
Colour the cheeks with Plum du Bois Powder Blush and a 187 Brush.
Line lips with Summerfruit Cremestick Liner. Fill in with Crème Cerise Lipstick using a 316 Brush. Finish the look with Cherry Blossom Tinted Lipglass.
(summary from MAC Pro)
This fall, the seventies are back! According to Gordon Espinet and Tom Pecheux, “Seventies clubby” and “Glam rock fantasies” will be the main theme for the eyes. This means lots and lots of rich metallics on the eyelid. Look at celebrity icons like Cher and Diana Ross for ideas on eyeshadows. Eyebrows will be boyish and lashes mascaraless to soften up the look. Skin will be on the light side yet structured. Lips should be matte and drenched in wine shades.
