First Look At Upcoming Burbuerry Beauty Cosmetics Line!

Last year, I told you that a Burberry color cosmetics line will debut this summer and now we finally have a sneak peak of the range!

According to Chief Creative Director Christopher Bailey, the range consists of foundation, powder, bronzer, eyeshadow, eyeliner, lip gloss, lip definer, lipstick and mascara – which are all heavily inspired by the brand’s iconic khaki trench coat.

“It started because I felt that, at shows and the shoots, the whole attitude is epitomized through the shoes, the bags, the clothes, the accessories, but then the face was the one thing I really struggled with. When we were doing makeup, I felt like we weren’t able to get the right attitude. It was either caked-on makeup or then just the wrong colors, the wrong tones, the wrong spirit for makeup. I wanted it to be this kind of effortless elegance. Like the trench coat, it can be worn anywhere and at any time.” said Bailey.

Burberry Beauty will be available July 2010 in Harrods in the UK, Nordstrom in the US, Holt Renfew in Canada and Lane Crawford in Hong Kong. Prices will range from US$24 for a lip liner to US$59 for a foundation.

I definitely like the sleek packaging (doesn’t it remind you of Lunasol?) and the fact that the products are etched with the signature check plaid design? Cuteeeeee! Can’t wait to see them in person!

Tom Pecheux To Revamp Estée Lauder’s Pure Color Range

WWD just reported that Estée Lauder‘s Pure Color range will get a makeover by creative makeup director at Estée Lauder, Tom Pecheux.

To help point the brand to a more fashion forward direction, the French beauty guru will be replacing the neutral-based color range with heavily pigmented, vibrant hues. “Makeup is such a fashion accessory – I’d like to highlight that part of the brand, and also bring a playful touch to the franchise,” explained Pecheux.

The new revamped Pure Color line will consist of 34 new Pure Color Glosses and 48 new Pure Color Eyeshadows. The glosses will debut in June and come in shine, shimmer and metallic formulas. The eyeshadows, on the other hand, will launch this Fall and come in four different finishes – matte, satin, luminous and metallic.

We already caught a glimpse of the new line when Estée Lauder made its debut at New York Fashion Week during the Derek Lam Fall 2010 show. The new colors seemed so rich and absolutely *beautiful*! Can’t wait to see more!

Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show To Air December 1 on CBS

Four gorgeous Victoria’s Secret supermodels – Behati Prinsoloo, Doutzen Kroes, Alessandra Ambrosio and Marisa Miller- made an appearance at the Victoria’s Secret SoHo Store today to share their top beauty picks for the holidays.

The Angels looked super gorgeous as usual with brown eyeshadow smudged around the eyes, black liquid liner, coats of mascara and glossy soft pink lips.

On a side note, this year’s Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show will take place at the Lexington Armory in New York City tomorrow and will feature a runway presentation with 30 supermodels and a musical performance from The Black Eyed Peas. The show will broadcast Tuesday, December 1 at 10PM ET on the CBS Television Network.
