Graphic eye makeup dominated the red carpet of the 2013 Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Annual Costume Institute Gala last night. Inspired by 80s film, “Ladies And Gentlemen, The Fabulous Stains”, makeup Artist Erin Ayanian created a soft look with NARS Larger Than Life Long-Wear Eyeliner in Via Veneto and Barrow Street on Dakota Fanning.
To echo the neon green metallic seen in the shoes and clothing of the Atelier Versace Spring Couture 2013 collection, makeup artist Pat McGrath paired a smoky eye with a graphic strip of lime green eyeliner on the inner and outer corners along with glossy lips and flawless skin. Yet another way to rock green, the Pantone Color Of The Year.
Vibrant eye makeup makes a comeback this Fall and the hottest colors around? Blue, green, purple, red and orange as seen at Prabal Gurung, Robert Cavalli, Prada and more. I too love myself some colorful eyes so here is an orange + black graphic eye you can easily do in just a few steps.
