Spring Fashion Must-Have: J. Crew Factory Clare Cardigan

With the start of my new job, I had been on the hunt for good cardigans to keep me warm in the office. After going through various ones from Ann Taylor, Zara and Loft, I came across J. Crew Factory Clare Cardigan – now my favorite! The crewneck cardi is made of 100% cotton and comes in an array of rainbow colors. I have 3 – Bohemian Red (tomato red), Byzantine Blue (royal blue) and Festival Green (kelly green). They all feel ultra soft and survived in the washer and dryer without shrinking or losing their shape. They also have the right thickness and the three-quarter sleeves makes them perfect for the spring/summer weather. But the best part? Runway Beauty: Blue Graphic Eye at Chanel Resort 2014

Blue eyeshadow is all the rage this spring/summer and at the Chanel Resort 2014 show in Singapore, Peter Philips showed us a beautiful graphic eye with black and an electric blue that is simply perfect!

To create the look, Philips used Chanel Stylo Yeux Waterproof Long-Lasting Eyeliner in Noir Intense on the lid and True Blue on the the lower lash line before coating the lashes Chanel Inimitable Waterproof Mascara in Noir. The skin was prepped with Chanel Hydra Beauty Creme and kept luminous with Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua Ultra-Light Skin Perfecting Makeup SPF 15 and Chanel Eclat Lumiere Highlighting Face Pen with a touch of the upcoming Les Beiges Healthy Glow Sheer Colour SPF 15. With the eyes being the focus, the cheeks got a dusting of Chanel Joues Contraste Powder Blush in Frivole and the lips were covered with Rouge Coco Baume Hydrating Conditioning Lip Balm. The look was finished with two coats of Le Vernis de Chanel in Black Satin on the nails.
