Giorgio Armani international makeup artist Linda Cantello created a contoured look on the models at the Giorgio Armani A/W 2013.
A glossy purple lip dominated the look at Veronique Branquinho A/W 2013 at Paris Fashion Week. “The look is more about an aesthetic sophistication, punctuated with a clean, fresh, purple lip… it’s just gorgeous” said lead makeup artist Inge Grognard working for M·A·C Cosmetics.
At Missoni A/W 2013, makeup artist Lucia Pieroni working for M·A·C Cosmetics created glossy eyes and nude lips that is “pure… angelic, but with strength” while Eugene Souleiman, Global Creative Director of Wella Professionals, gave models stacked ponytails.
At Creatures of the Wind A/W 2013, NARS Director of Global Artistry James Boehmer created a makeup look that complements the collection by adding a new element. “You see the pearl on their cheeks, and an angular line that almost makes the look hard and not so feminine, like a Teddy girl in the UK after World War II. I also wanted to balance Chris and Shane’s inspiration of artificiality, and candy, by creating a look that had a combination of matte and pearl but no real sense of contour, depth or color.” said James.
Makeup artist Charlotte Tilbury created a modern take on the 30s look that is totally gorgeous at Bibhu Mohapatra A/W 2013 with the help of Maybelline New York products.
At Jean Pierre Braganza A/W 2013, MAC Cosmetics makeup artist Terry Barber created a “gothic but gorgeous” look with dramatic eyes and nude lips.
