Compared to the Vivienne Westwood Red Label Fall 2009 collection we saw at London Fashion Week, the Vivienne Westwood Fall 2009 collection was a disappointment.
While there are some pieces that I liked, the Mantegna-inspired collection just feels like all over the place. The makeup and hair, on the other hand, are much better though. Very Pamela Anderson – slightly trashy yet gorgeous.

Backstage Makeup Breakdown: Dolce & Gabbana Fall 2009 at Milan Fashion Week
Drama is an understatement when it comes to the Dolce & Gabbana A/W 2009 show. The collection featured lots and lots of shoulders (yes they are back!), all kinds of fur, ruffles, tuxedos and even a ballgown with Marilyn Monroe photo prints.
While black and white dominated the luxe collection of belted dresses and coats, Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana added in a pop of color with a few pieces and accessories in hot pink, blue and red. My favorites are the red corseted dress, the ruffled dresses and those gigantic suede platform wedges (how can you not love them?!) What about you ladies?
