Earlier this week, two of our favorite ladies, Kristen Stewart and Katy Perry, were spotted with some major eyeliner. Personally, I don’t like the look on either of them. The black is too harsh against Kristen’s pale complexion (she should have added a bit more color on her cheeks and lips) and Katy’s look is downright drag-queenish.
So ladies, when is too much too much? Where do you draw the line, literally?
Pink has always been a challenging color to pull off around the eyes but Rihanna totally rocked it at the Nokia X6 launch party in London yesterday. The singer paired a thick, fuchsia eyeliner on the lower lid with some short, spiky lashes on top and kept the rest of her face understated with just a bit of blush and a nude lip.
Lesson Here: To avoid looking like you got pink eye, pick a super bright color and wear extra liner and mascara.
All you have to do is dip the applicator into a powder eyeshadow and the clear, fragrance-free liquid will instantly transform the powder into eyeliner.
The felt-tip applicator also makes drawing on even the thinnest line so easy, minus any tugging/poking at the skin. And once the liner dries off – which only takes seconds – the color stays vibrant until I take it off. I have used the product with eyeshadows from MAC, Yaby and Stila and it worked great every time.
